How to configure Mail client module

Hi,
Can anybody tell me how to retrieve my gmail mails or any other mails into the Mail client module.
What steps are required to do this, please guide me..

Welcome,

To access your gmail mailbox from epesi, do the following:
1) Make sure Apps/MailClient module is installed (Admin panel->Module Administration)
2) Go to Menu->My Settings->Control Panel
3) Select 'Mail Accounts'
4) Clock on 'New account'
5) Enter all required information:
*Mail address: example@gmail.com
*Login : example
*Password : passwd
*Incoming protocol : pop3 or imap, your preference
*Incoming server address : pop.gmail.com for pop3, imap.gmail.com for imap
Receive with SSL : Yes
Remove messages from server : (only for pop3) Never
SMTP server address : smtp.gmail.com:587
Secure connection : TLS
SMTP authorization required : Yes
Login : example
Password : passwd
6) Go to gmail.com and make sure your selected method (pop3/imap) is enabled for your account
7) Save this new account
8) Go to Menu->Mail Client and click 'Check'

One more thing - if you're using pop3, you should know that gmail allows each message to be fetch only once through pop3. So if you're using desktop mail client and already downloaded all messages there, inbox in epesi will be empty.
There is a way around this "feature" - simply enter:

In the first "Login" box. This will make gmail push all messages from 30 days back and any new message, including those that were already downloaded by another pop3 client.

I have tried the way you have told but it giving the following error:
"sabdul@kennovation-services.com: (login error) Generic login error"
so plz guide
